today we hand fed the chickens but I was really scared  because Rose my Rhode island red chicken pecks really hard. She is a feisty chook. I also have a black Australorp called Cookie. When we first got the chickens Cookie chased the turkey around. The first  night when we tried to get cookie in her pen she sprinted so fast that no one could catch her. We had to get out a big mat to try and trap her.
